For those of you who don’t know – Nucleya is a bass heavy electronic artist from New Delhi. Incase you’re still wondering Nucleya is Udyan Sagar, former member and partner of Bandish Projekt. He is on a pursuit to create a new kind of Indian electronica by blending a fusion of complex cut up edits and unheard indian sounds, with cutting edge production and genre-defying rhythms.
He co-founded the Bandish Projekt in the late ‘90s and has also played a number of gigs across the country, including a set at The Bacardi Weekender 2011. He has performed all around the world in numerous music festivals, including Glastonbury, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Lille 3000 and the Electron Festival, alongside artists like Diplo and Modeselektor.
After quitting Bandish Project, he went on to produce bass-heavy music. he has collaborated with Mou Sultana and Brooklyn Shanti on season 2 of MTV’s “the Dewarists”
He has also remixed a couple of Bollywood tracks and released a few remix albums. He also opened for David Guetta during the Eristoff Invasion Festival 2012. His latest blend hot out of his console is “Koocha Monster”
Right now he is one of India’s best electronic artist!
