Aswin Sreekumar – the rising star!

Aswin Sreekumar is an independent music producer who hails from the southern part of India. Apart from his skills in acting and dancing, he found his true passion at the age of 16 – music production. He was inspired by famous producers and DJs like Tiesto, Benny Benassi, Infected Mushroom and David Guetta to name a few. Despite being an electrical engineer, his avidness to become an artist made him a self learner. Learning through experimenting was his key to overcome the constraints he faced. Challenging these barriers, he pounced onto the stage at which he is now. Apart from spending hours in his studio making music, he even found the time to sharpen his DJing skills. Being passionate about music, he always loves to transfer that energy to his audience through his live shows.

At the young age of 16, he embarked on his musical journey by releasing a bollywood bootleg remix album, Beats of Love (2009), which also features tracks from other famous artists. In the beginning of 2010, he released the second volume of Beats of Love. Apart from Bollywood music, he also gave his magical touch to many commercial tracks. He always believed that true music should strike fire to the heart. Though he likes to work on International EDM (Electronic Dance Music), to build a fan base in his own country, he released his debut album Stereo Pulse Volume 1 which is packed with bollywood remixes. In the consecutive years the album was taken to a much higher level by releasing its subsequent volumes. As a South Indian, he didn’t forget to give southern tracks a shot which gave birth to Southern Pulse. Poetry in Motion was an album in collaboration with DJ Raveen. His latest album, Neoteric Vibes Volume 1 and 2, in collaboration with Kevin Kongor, was another effort which showcased his true love for music.

Although most of his works were based on genres like electro house and progressive house, he also stretched his hands on Dubstep, Trance and Bigroom. His tracks are widely played in clubs all over India and it always lights the dance floor on fire.While driving the crowd crazy on the floor, his tracks were enjoyed by thousands listening to them on popular radio channels. His works have been appreciated by top DJs like DJ NYK, DJ Dev, Anup Prabhakar, Anurag Sen, Ribin Richard and Sahil Joshi.
